CVE-2022-3852

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions VR Calendar plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.3.3
Description The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on several functions, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete and modify calendars as well as the plugin settings via forged requests. This can be achieved if attackers can trick a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.3.3, update to a version that includes the fix for the missing or incorrect nonce validation issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin's settings and calendars to minimize the risk of exploitation.
