Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Jenkins CollabNet Plugins Plugin versions 2.0.8 and earlier
Description
The issue concerns the storage of a RabbitMQ password in an unencrypted form within the global configuration file on the Jenkins controller. This allows users with access to the Jenkins controller file system to view the password.
Recommendations
For Jenkins CollabNet Plugins Plugin versions 2.0.8 and earlier, update to a version later than 2.0.8 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Jenkins controller file system to minimize the risk of password exposure.
