Description
The issue is caused by a reverse tabnabbing flaw, allowing a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions. An attacker could exploit this and redirect a victim to a phishing site.
Recommendations
For IBM CICS TX version 11.1 Standard and Advanced, consider implementing additional security measures to prevent reverse tabnabbing attacks, such as validating user input and ensuring proper URL handling. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to sensitive areas of the application to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
