Description
The issue allows Remote Code Execution (RCE) in Metabase, a data visualization software, when users can write SQL queries on H2 databases. This can be exploited by users with the ability to execute SQL queries. Metabase has addressed this issue by no longer allowing DDL statements in H2 native queries.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 0.41.9, update to version 0.41.9 or later.
For versions prior to 0.42.6, update to version 0.42.6 or later.
For versions prior to 0.43.7, update to version 0.43.7 or later.
For versions prior to 0.44.5, update to version 0.44.5 or later.
For versions prior to 1.41.9, update to version 1.41.9 or later.
