Description The issue is related to a use after free vulnerability in the File System API of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers. This vulnerability is associated with the use of memory after it has been freed. Exploitation of this issue may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code by potentially exploiting heap corruption via a crafted HTML page.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 101.0.4951.41, update to version 101.0.4951.41 or later to resolve the issue. For Microsoft Edge, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
