| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Permalink Manager Lite plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.2.20.1
Description
The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the
extra actions function, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to change plugin settings, including permalinks and site maps, via forged requests. This can be achieved if attackers can trick a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.Recommendations
For Permalink Manager Lite plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.2.20.1, update to a version higher than 2.2.20.1 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
extra actions function until a patch is available.Fix
