Description
The issue arises due to improper memory management when a user opens a manipulated CATIA5 Part file from untrusted sources. This can cause the application to crash, becoming temporarily unavailable until it is restarted.

For SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author version 9, avoid opening CATIA5 Part files from untrusted sources to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the CatiaTranslator.exe file until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
