| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Jenkins Compuware Common Configuration Plugin versions 1.0.14 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to the XML parser not being configured to prevent XML external entity (XXE) attacks. This allows attackers who can change the contents of the Topaz Workbench CLI home directory on agents to have Jenkins parse a crafted file that uses external entities for extraction of secrets from the Jenkins controller or server-side request forgery.
Recommendations
For versions 1.0.14 and earlier, update to a version that configures its XML parser to prevent XXE attacks.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
