Description
The issue is related to a possible out of bounds write in the SimUpdatePbEntry::encode function of simdata.cpp due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege, requiring System execution privileges. No user interaction is needed for exploitation.

For Android kernel, consider applying a patch that includes a bounds check in the SimUpdatePbEntry::encode function to prevent out of bounds writes.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
