| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Jenkins Job Import Plugin versions 3.5 and earlier
Description
The issue allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to enumerate credentials IDs of credentials stored in Jenkins due to a lack of permission check in an HTTP endpoint. In version 3.6 of the Job Import Plugin, an enumeration of credentials IDs requires Job Import/Import Jobs permission.
Recommendations
For Jenkins Job Import Plugin versions 3.5 and earlier, consider updating to version 3.6 or later, where an enumeration of credentials IDs requires Job Import/Import Jobs permission, to mitigate the risk of credentials ID enumeration.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the HTTP endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Fix
