Description The issue is related to an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. This vulnerability is also associated with insufficient input validation. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations For Adobe Illustrator versions 26.0.2 and earlier, update to a version later than 26.0.2 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Illustrator versions 25.4.5 and earlier, update to a version later than 25.4.5 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of untrusted or malicious files in Adobe Illustrator until a patch is available.
