Description The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read in memory, which could allow an attacker to disclose sensitive information by using a specially crafted file. This vulnerability can be exploited to bypass certain security mitigations, such as Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR). Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations For Adobe Illustrator versions 26.0.2 and earlier, update to a version later than 26.0.2 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Illustrator versions 25.4.5 and earlier, update to a version later than 25.4.5 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of untrusted or unknown files until a patch is available.
