Description
A potential double free issue was identified in the elan input configured function. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven. This issue was introduced in version v5.9 and fixed in Linux Kernel version v5.18.3.
Recommendations
For Linux Kernel versions prior to v5.18.3, update to version v5.18.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the elan input configured function until a patch is available.
