Description
The issue is related to a use-after-free error in the sysfs trigger of the iio subsystem. This problem was introduced in version v3.7 and is fixed in Linux Kernel version v5.18.8. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven.

For Linux Kernel versions prior to v5.18.8, update to version v5.18.8 or later to resolve the issue.
