Description
The issue is related to a double free in the
rpmsg virtio add ctrl dev function in the Linux kernel. This could potentially allow an attacker to cause a denial of service.Recommendations
For Linux kernel versions prior to 5.18.4, update to version 5.18.4 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
rpmsg virtio add ctrl dev function in drivers/rpmsg/virtio rpmsg bus.c until a patch is available.Fix
