Description
The issue is related to a refcount leak in the versatile reboot probe function. This problem was introduced in version v3.18 and is fixed in version v4.9.325. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven.

For Linux Kernel versions v3.18 through v4.9.324, update to version v4.9.325 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the versatile reboot probe function until a patch is available.
