Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds write operation in the memory buffer. This may allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information or execute arbitrary code by using a specially crafted image file.
Recommendations
For V-Server versions 4.0.11.0 and earlier, update to a version later than 4.0.11.0 to resolve the issue.
For V-Server Lite versions 4.0.13.0 and earlier, update to a version later than 4.0.13.0 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of specially crafted image files to minimize the risk of exploitation.
