Description
The issue is related to the
i740 calc vclk() function in the i740fb module of the Linux Kernel. The problem arises from the lack of proper validation of the argument passed to this function. Although the actual impact and attack plausibility have not been proven yet, it is considered a potential security risk.Recommendations
For Linux Kernel versions prior to v5.10.138, update to version v5.10.138 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
