CVE-2022-2105

CVSS v2.0

9.7

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Secheron SEPCOS Single Package relay control and protection software (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to the incorrect implementation of a sequence of actions in the software. This could allow a remote attacker to change user credentials and permissions without authentication. The attacker may also gain access to a "root" user level, which is meant only for the vendor, and modify safety-critical parameters through web server root level access.
Recommendations As a temporary workaround, consider disabling remote access to the software until a patch is available. Restrict access to the web server root level to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the software for critical operations until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
