Description
The issue is related to an elevation of privilege vulnerability in the Windows Client Server Run-time Subsystem (CSRSS). It allows an attacker to gain SYSTEM privileges on a compromised system. The vulnerability can be exploited to disable local services, such as endpoint security and detection tools. Microsoft has released security updates for July 2022, which include a fix for this vulnerability. The updates address a total of 84 security flaws, including four critical ones that lead to remote code execution (RCE).
