Description
The issue is related to a use-after-free error in the L2CAP (Logical Link Control and Adaptation Protocol) component of the Bluetooth protocol. This error was introduced in version v3.6 and is fixed in version v6.0.8. The actual impact and attack plausibility of this issue have not yet been proven.
Recommendations
For Linux Kernel versions prior to v6.0.8, update to version v6.0.8 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling Bluetooth functionality until a patch is available. Restrict access to the L2CAP component to minimize the risk of exploitation.
