Description
The issue is related to a Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the dynamic memory of Adobe Character Animator. Exploitation of this issue could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. It requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations
For Adobe Character Animator versions 4.4.7 and earlier, update to a version later than 4.4.7 to resolve the issue.
For Adobe Character Animator versions 22.4 and earlier, update to a version later than 22.4 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the opening of suspicious or malicious files with Adobe Character Animator until a patch is available.
