Description
The issue is related to a potential security problem in the
net/x25 module, specifically in the x25 lapb receive frame() function, where a skb leak is fixed. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven.Recommendations
For Linux Kernel versions prior to v4.9.334, update to version v4.9.334 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the
x25 lapb receive frame() function until a patch is available. Found an issue in the description? Have something to add? Feel free to write us 👾
