CVSS v3.1

9.8

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Robustel R1510 version 3.3.0
Description The issue is related to command injection vulnerabilities in the web server ajax endpoints functionalities. A specially-crafted network packet can lead to arbitrary command execution. An attacker can send a sequence of requests to trigger these vulnerabilities. The /ajax/remove/ API endpoint is affected by a command injection vulnerability. The vulnerability is due to the lack of measures to neutralize special elements used in the operating system command, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands by sending specially crafted requests.
Recommendations For Robustel R1510 version 3.3.0, consider disabling the /ajax/remove/ API endpoint until a patch is available to prevent exploitation of the command injection vulnerability. Restrict access to the web server ajax endpoints functionalities to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the remove() function in the VPN-microprogram software until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
