Description
The issue is related to the use of an out-of-range pointer offset in the BIOS firmware for some Intel(R) Processors. This may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. The vulnerability is also associated with a buffer overflow in memory, which could allow an attacker to elevate their privileges and execute arbitrary code.
