CVE-2022-33312

CVSS v3.1

10

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Robustel R1510 version 3.3.0
Description The issue is related to command injection vulnerabilities in the web server action endpoints functionalities. A specially-crafted network request can lead to arbitrary command execution. The /action/import cert file/ API endpoint is affected by a command injection vulnerability. This can be exploited by an attacker sending a sequence of requests, potentially allowing remote execution of arbitrary commands. The vulnerability is due to the lack of proper neutralization of special elements used in the operating system command, specifically in the import cert file() function.
Recommendations For Robustel R1510 version 3.3.0, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the import cert file() function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the /action/import cert file/ API endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the import cert file functionality in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
