Description A missing permission check in the Jenkins Coverity Plugin allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to enumerate credentials IDs of credentials stored in Jenkins. This issue is related to insufficient authorization procedures, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information. The vulnerability can be used as part of an attack to capture credentials using another vulnerability.
Recommendations For Jenkins Coverity Plugin versions 1.11.4 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
