Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Jenkins Repository Connector Plugin versions 2.2.0 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to a missing permission check in the Jenkins Repository Connector Plugin, which is associated with authorization procedure deficiencies. This allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to enumerate credentials IDs of credentials stored in Jenkins, potentially using them as part of an attack to capture the credentials using another vulnerability.
Recommendations
For Jenkins Repository Connector Plugin versions 2.2.0 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin's HTTP endpoints to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
