Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Jenkins Repository Connector Plugin versions 2.2.0 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to insufficient authorization procedures in the Jenkins Repository Connector Plugin, allowing remote attackers with Overall/Read permission to disclose protected information about the file system. This can be achieved by exploiting a method implementing form validation that lacks a permission check, enabling attackers to check for the existence of an attacker-specified file path on the Jenkins controller file system. A sequence of requests can be used to effectively list the Jenkins controller file system.
Recommendations
For Jenkins Repository Connector Plugin versions 2.2.0 and earlier, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
