Description The issue is related to a segmentation violation in the njs string offset function at src/njs string.c. This can lead to an uncontrolled resource consumption. An attacker, acting remotely, may exploit this issue to elevate their privileges.
Recommendations For Nginx NJS version 0.7.2, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the njs string offset function until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
