Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe FrameMaker versions 2019 Update 8 (and earlier) and 2020 Update 4 (and earlier)
Description The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations For Adobe FrameMaker versions 2019 Update 8 (and earlier) and 2020 Update 4 (and earlier), update to a version later than the affected ones to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the opening of files from untrusted sources to minimize the risk of exploitation. Restrict access to potentially malicious files to prevent the vulnerability from being leveraged.
