Description
The issue is related to a buffer overflow in memory when parsing JPG files, allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code by using a specially crafted malicious JPG file. User interaction is required, such as visiting a malicious page or opening a malicious file, to exploit this issue. The flaw exists within the parsing of JPG files, where crafted data can trigger a write past the end of an allocated buffer, enabling an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process.
