Description The issue is related to insufficient validation of untrusted input in the File component of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers. This could allow an attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information from internal file directories via a crafted HTML page, if they convinced a user to install a malicious app. The attacker could exploit this issue remotely.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 103.0.5060.134, update to version 103.0.5060.134 or later. For Google Chrome on Android versions prior to 103.0.5060.134, update to version 103.0.5060.134 or later. For Microsoft Edge, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
