CVSS v2.0

10

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Google Chrome versions prior to 105.0.5195.52
Description The issue is related to a use after free vulnerability in the PhoneHub function of Google Chrome on Chrome OS. This could allow a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. The vulnerability is associated with the improper use of memory after it has been freed, which can lead to the execution of arbitrary code.
Recommendations For versions prior to 105.0.5195.52, update to version 105.0.5195.52 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to crafted HTML pages that could exploit the heap corruption vulnerability in PhoneHub until a patch is applied.
