Description
A business logic issue in the handling of large repositories allowed an authenticated and authorized user to exhaust server resources by importing a malicious project. This could lead to a denial of service. The issue is related to the incorrect handling of logical operations in the Gitaly.GetTreeEntries component.
Recommendations
For GitLab CE/EE versions 10.0 through 15.1.5, update to version 15.1.6 or later.
For GitLab CE/EE versions 15.2 through 15.2.3, update to version 15.2.4 or later.
For GitLab CE/EE versions 15.3 through 15.3.1, update to version 15.3.2 or later.
