Description
The issue exists due to insufficient input validation in the Web Services component of Oracle WebLogic Server, part of the Oracle Fusion Middleware platform. This allows a remote attacker to cause a partial denial of service via the T3 protocol. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service of Oracle WebLogic Server.
Recommendations
For Oracle WebLogic Server versions 12.2.1.3.0 and 12.2.1.4.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
For Oracle WebLogic Server version 14.1.1.0.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the T3 protocol to minimize the risk of exploitation.
