Description
The issue is related to improper access control, allowing an authenticated attacker with a restricted user profile to gather checksum information about other VDOMs via CLI commands. This may enable a remote attacker to disclose protected information.
Recommendations
For FortiOS versions 6.2.0 through 6.2.11, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue.
For FortiOS versions 6.4.0 through 6.4.8, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue.
For FortiOS versions 7.0.0 through 7.0.5, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to CLI commands for users with restricted profiles until a patch is available.
