Description
The issue is related to a component of the Qualcomm embedded platform's video microcode, specifically a lack of buffer length checks and out-of-bounds memory reads when handling MP4 files. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a denial of service. The affected components include Snapdragon Auto, Snapdragon Compute, Snapdragon Connectivity, Snapdragon Consumer IOT, Snapdragon Industrial IOT, Snapdragon Mobile, Snapdragon Voice & Music, and Snapdragon Wearables.
