Description The issue is related to a Use After Free vulnerability in the process next cpt value() function of the Vim text editor. This vulnerability can be exploited by an attacker to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary code using a specially crafted file.
Recommendations For versions prior to 9.0.0579, update to version 9.0.0579 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the process next cpt value() function until a patch is available.
