Description
The issue is related to a Violation of Secure Design Principles that could allow an attacker to bypass the security feature of the encryption mechanism in the backend. This could potentially lead to the decryption of secrets. However, exploiting this issue is complex as it requires the attacker to already possess the secrets. Additionally, low-privilege access to AEM is necessary for exploitation. The vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions and gain unauthorized access to protected information.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.13.0 and earlier, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
