CVE-2022-28851

CVSS v2.0

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.13.0 and earlier
Description The issue is a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. It can be exploited if an attacker convinces a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, allowing malicious JavaScript content to be executed within the context of the victim's browser. Exploitation requires low-privilege access to AEM. The vulnerability exists due to inadequate protection of the web page structure, which may allow a remote attacker to conduct cross-site scripting attacks using a specially crafted link.
Recommendations For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.13.0 and earlier, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using links that reference vulnerable pages until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
