Description
The issue is related to a heap-based buffer overflow in dynamic memory, which could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. This can be achieved by exploiting the vulnerability through a specially crafted file, requiring user interaction such as opening a malicious file.
Recommendations
For Adobe InCopy versions 17.3 and earlier, update to a version later than 17.3 to resolve the issue.
For Adobe InCopy versions 16.4.2 and earlier, update to a version later than 16.4.2 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of SVG files in Adobe InCopy until a patch is available.
