Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
IBM CICS TX Standard and Advanced version 11.1
Description
The issue is related to errors in data encryption. It could allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information. The problem arises from the use of weaker than expected cryptographic algorithms, which could enable an attacker to decrypt highly sensitive information.
Recommendations
For IBM CICS TX Standard and Advanced version 11.1, consider updating to a version that uses stronger cryptographic algorithms to mitigate the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to sensitive information to minimize the risk of unauthorized access until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
