Description This issue allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations. User interaction is required to exploit this, where the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The flaw exists within the parsing of BMP images due to the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, resulting in a read past the end of an allocated object. An attacker can leverage this, in conjunction with other issues, to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process.

Recommendations For Corel CorelDRAW Graphics Suite version 23.5.0.506, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the parsing of BMP images until a patch is available.
