Description
The issue is related to errors in synchronization when using a shared resource in the implementation of the Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) in Windows operating systems. Exploitation of the issue may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted malicious PPTP packet. The vulnerability can be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code and affect the system.
