Description A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of the web-based management interface of an affected device. This issue is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input by the web-based management interface. An attacker could exploit this by injecting malicious code into specific pages of the interface, potentially allowing the execution of arbitrary script code in the context of the affected interface or access to sensitive, browser-based information.

Recommendations To resolve this issue, update the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to a version that includes the fix for this vulnerability. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
