Description The issue is related to a function FT Request Size in the FreeType library, which is associated with reading beyond the allowed boundaries of a data buffer. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a denial of service. The problem was discovered in a specific commit of FreeType, identified as 22a0cccb4d9d002f33c1ba7a4b36812c7d4f46b5, where a segmentation violation occurs via the FT Request Size function.
