Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that may lead to information disclosure and/or arbitrary code execution. This can be achieved by having a user open a specially crafted CXP file, which exploits the buffer overflow in memory. The vulnerability allows an attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information or execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For CX-Programmer versions 9.77 and earlier, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
