CVSS v2.0
7.5
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.14 and earlier
Description
The issue exists due to inadequate protection of the web page structure. Exploitation may allow a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting attacks using a specially crafted link in the context of the current user. A low-privileged attacker can convince a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, resulting in the execution of malicious JavaScript content within the victim's browser.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.14 and earlier, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages until a patch is available.
