CVE-2022-35695

CVSS v2.0

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.14 and earlier
Description The issue is related to a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. It can be exploited if an attacker convinces a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, allowing malicious JavaScript content to be executed within the context of the victim's browser. The vulnerability exists due to inadequate protection of the web page structure, which may enable a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting attacks using a specially crafted link in the context of the current user.
Recommendations For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.14 and earlier, consider disabling access to vulnerable pages until a patch is available. Restrict the use of potentially vulnerable components to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, avoid using links that reference vulnerable pages to prevent malicious JavaScript content execution. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
